It's time to start looking forward to the future. We know what's coming and we hope it will be in the next year. We've got a long list of confirmed cars and some that have a vague release date.
There are hybrid supercars, big-boss GTs, and more on the horizon. Let's face it, this is a great time to be a car enthusiast. More power, efficiency, aerodynamics, and more are all on the rise. There's more of everything, including cars!
In no particular order, here is what we think and hope will happen in 2025.
Corvette C8 ZR1
While the C8 Z06 has more in common with a traditional supercar than the ZR1, the ZR1 was the most powerful Corvette announced last year. Two turbochargers, which are a great addition to the Z06's 5.5L V8, have given it 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft.
Chevrolet claims that the car can reach a top speed of 233 MPH with its aero packages and ZTK performance package. This is also, by the way, the fastest Corvette to ever be factory stock. The C8 is slightly heavier due to the intercoolers and reinforcement needed for the turbos. It weighs 3,670 lbs (1.660 kg).
We know that C8 ZR1 "opens to orders" at the end of the Spring of this year and that delivery is hoped to begin in Q3 or even Q4 2025.
Lamborghini Temerario
The well-loved "baby Lamborghini", the Huracan, was no more in 2024. The Huracan had been on the cutting block several times, but due to customer demand, they continued to make it until March/April of 2024 to fulfill the last orders and deliver the cars to the customers.
Temerario is its successor. It may not be the V10 that has been relegated to Lamborghini's archives, but it will have a hybrid powertrain consisting of three electric motors, and a 4.0L dual-turbo V8. The two systems combined will produce 907 HP. To package the system in the most efficient manner, it will use a "Hot Vee", turbo placement.
Lamborghini is aiming to demonstrate its cutting-edge technology with the Temerario. The hybrid system is included, as are the three screens on the dashboard, the infotainment screen and passenger information display, and the camera (Lamborghini Vision Unit) that provides performance feedback and analysis when driving at a racetrack.
Lamborghini confirmed it would at least begin accepting orders by 2025. They could even begin deliveries as early as Q4 2025.
Porsche 992.1 911 GT3 RS MR
People will call Porsche a sports car but not a Supercar. The GT3 tag is what makes them toe the line. The RennSport abbreviation is added at the end to make a track-mad supercar. There is still one step left to take in order for the GT3 RS supercar to be truly mental. That is adding "MR" following the RS.
Manthey Racing, a Porsche-owned tuning house and race car development company is a Porsche part-owner. Sometimes they also get to play around with the GT3 RS race cars, which are already very powerful. They can turn them into street-legal race cars. As of right now, a Manthey Kit is available for the 992.1 GT3 RS. This is the prelude to MR models being released.
The 991.2 GT3 RS MR has been rated as one of the hardest-core racing Porsches that you can still drive!
Ferrari SF90XX Stradale
You're Italian and already own a crazy supercar. One day, you find yourself bored at work. What do you? What do you do?
It may only have 30 HP more than the "Standard SF90", but it's the most aggressive Prancing Horse supercar since the F40 or F50. The car is built with airflow in consideration and generates 700 lbs. of downforce at high speeds. Ferrari has stated that their SF90 XX Stradale was the most aerodynamic road-legal vehicle in company history.
This time, you don't have to wait for Ferrari to deliver your XX to the track. You can drive there, drive around the track, and then drive back. The coupe and spider models are both in production. All 799 of them were pre-allocated by Ferrari to its best customers. The cars will be delivered between 2025 and 2026.
Bugatti Rimac Tourbillon
The Bugatti Bolide will be the first vehicle made by this new company. However, the Tourbillon will replace the Chiron in their model lineup. The 8.3L V-16 engine will produce 986 HP with 664 lbs.-ft. of torque. It is one of only a few production V-16 engines. A triple-motor hybrid system will add to this power, bringing the total to 1,800 HP with well over 1,000 lbs.ft. of torque. It will literally be the most powerful hybrid car ever built.
One part of the car is analog, despite the high-tech powertrain and materials used in its construction. The instrument cluster was designed by several Swiss top watchmakers and can look like any watch, but it is standardly "Rolex Silver". The gauge cluster is not behind plastic or glass, but the faces are milled sapphire, just like on a watch.
We know it's a 2026 model, so we hope that both production and orders start in 2025. Some deliveries are expected in Q3 or in Q4. It's out of reach for most people, but it is still fun to dream about.

Aston Martin Valour
You celebrate the 100th anniversary of your company with the V8 Vantage Centenary Edition, and the wild, crazy, track-only Vulcan. Why not celebrate when it turns 110? Aston Martin Valour has a purpose.
The Valour, based on the Vantage V600 of the 1990s is a combination of several models. The Valour has a modified 5.2L engine from a DBS that produces 705 horsepower. It is only available as a manual six-speed transmission and, according to Aston Martin, it has fewer driver aids, compared to most of its cars, in order to give drivers a better feeling for the road. The company even states, "Without artificial torque shaping, it's the driver's experience and connection that will determine the amount of power at any given moment."
For the generation who grew up during the '70s and 1980s, and can afford this $2,000,000 car, with only 110 being produced, it is a return of the sports cars you would have purchased back then. You can think of cars like the old Toyota MkIII Supra with its brutalist design and massive (for that time) 430 horsepower, or the Porsche 911 Turbo 930 series, which had turbo lag and sudden boost. We like this classic supercar that has been updated for the modern age.
Red Bull Racing's RB17
In the 21st Century, it seems that Formula One teams are making supercars and Hypercars. Aston Martin made two of them in partnership with Red Bull Racing. McLaren Automotive, which was formed in 2009 and 2010 by Mercedes-AMG, created an F1 car that could be used on the road. It's not surprising that Red Bull who makes energy drinks and sometimes a hypercar, would have its own.
It is called the RB17 and it was designed by Adrian Newey. He is the master of racing car design. The spec sheet is also quite impressive. It will also have a V10 engine with a stressed member that can rev to 15,000 RPM. A hybrid system will be included, as well as over 1,200 horsepower. The car will cruise past 200 MPH and then wave a little on its way up to 230 MPH.
The RBR is packed with tech, such as hybrid deployment and recovery, varying power modes (what F1 refers to as ERS), and control systems. It will be extremely expensive because it contains so much technology. The car is limited to 50 and designed for track use only. Rumor has it that each car will begin at 6 million dollars, making it the most expensive factory produced vehicle of all time.
Aston Martin Vanquish (Third Generation)
We already have an Aston Martin on the list but the third-generation Vanquish deserves to be on it for one very important reason: the V12 engine. While most supercar manufacturers are using V8s and V6s to generate power, the English decided that they would have the right amount of cylinders. Then, two turbos were added, resulting in 824 horsepower and 738 lbs.-ft. of torque.
The car's look is very much in line with Aston Martin's design language. It has a sleek but brutalist appearance. The car is low and long and longer than both the DB12 Vantage, but there's a good reason for that. It's not the lightest supercar in the world at 3,911 pounds (1,774 kilograms), but with the V12 fire-breathing Dragon under the hood, it can still reach 60 MPH within a few seconds.
The Vanquish is featured because it's one of the very few supercars with a V12 engine. If the past is any indication, the sound it produces will be a roaring British power.
Lamborghini Revuelto Roadster
It was believed that the V12 engine from Sant'agata Bolognese would be discontinued when Lamborghini stopped the Aventador. These rumors are false. The Revuelto is the vehicle that will be delivering the latest 6.5L V12 naturally aspirated engine.
The Revueltos's main feature is its hybrid system. Its engine produces 825 horsepower, but it also includes an electric motor. Three electric motors - two in the front and one at the transaxle - provide an extra 190 horsepower, giving the Revuelto a total of 1,015HP. The electric motors also give the supercar 783 lbs.-ft. of torque.
The first variant will be announced in 2025 since it has been around for a year. This is based on the Aventador which was released as a single model for the first year and a half. The Roadster followed in mid-2013, and the SV was introduced in mid-2015. We can only hope Lamborghini keeps to this kind of release and announcement schedule!
Aston Martin Valhalla
When the Brits get going, they're pretty hard to stop! The third Aston, which is on this list, maybe the most anticipated new car. The Valhalla, also known as "the baby Valkyrie," is a car that will likely not have the same extremes in seating and aerodynamics found on the hypercar.
To borrow a British expression, the Valhalla is proper expensive, and powerful. The Valhalla is a PHEV that has three hybrid motors, a twin-turbo V8 engine rumored from Mercedes-AMG and costs around $800,000. It will also be able to roar out 1,064 horsepower when all systems are turned up, and it will reach 220 MPH in just 2.5 seconds.
Rumors are circulating that Aston Martin has already given priority to clients who prefer the Valhalla model. The production will be limited to 999 units and will include a number on each car, as is customary with limited editions. There will be more Valhallas than Valkyries so that more people can see what happens when a Formula One Formula Car team and a supercar manufacturer combine forces.
